Falling for Candles

The weather has definitely turned in North Carolina! The leaves are changing, and warm days are being replaced by crisp, fall ones. There’s something about fall that makes me want to restock the candles in my home. The cooler, shorter days motivate me to bring the dwindling warmth of the season inside.

I could buy name brand candles at the big box stores, but it’s always more interesting (and fun!) to look locally for candles. Some of my favorite candles for fall are from Seagrove Candle Company in Pinehurst, sold locally in Carrboro at the NC Crafts Gallery.  These handcrafted candles are long-lasting, beautifully packaged, and they are available in all types of wonderful scents (I bought teak and ginger leaf recently; very luscious!). Whether you want to fill your home with autumnal fragrance, or add ambiance to your next fall celebration, indulge yourself (or a friend; these make great gifts!) with these lovely candles.
